Building Beautiful, Functional Websites for Forest Camp Resort & Limottakna
When it comes to web development, no two clients are the same — and that’s exactly what makes my work so rewarding. In this case study, I’m highlighting two recent projects that demonstrate how tailored design and smart development strategies can bring vastly different brands to life online.
From a nature-inspired resort in Negros Oriental to a cutting-edge animation studio in the Philippines, here’s how I helped two uniquely local businesses — Forest Camp Resort and Limottakna Viewdeck + Restaurant — build compelling websites that now serve as their digital front doors.
Both projects are rooted in eco-tourism and experiential hospitality, and both required more than just visuals — they needed purpose-built, mobile-optimized, content-ready platforms that could support their growth and help guests connect from anywhere in the world.
ForestCampResort.com: A Digital Refresh for an Iconic Nature Resort
The Forest Camp Resort is one of Negros Oriental’s most beloved nature destinations — but its website was outdated, hard to navigate on mobile, and lacked the features modern travelers expect. The client needed a full redesign that would capture the serenity of the resort while making it easier for guests to book and explore.
My Approach
I started with a deep dive into their audience: local travelers, international tourists, and families looking for nature getaways. From there, we designed a fresh, mobile-first interface using warm, earthy tones and immersive visuals to reflect the natural environment.
Key improvements included:
The Result:
More importantly, guests could now discover and connect with Forest Camp Resort without friction — whether on desktop or mobile, local or international.
Limottakna.com – Website for a Viewdeck, & Restaurant
Limottakna is something rare: a viewdeck café, and nature destination all in one, perched in the Valencia highlands. They offer food and relaxing atmosphere. But their digital presence didn’t match the experience you’d get in person — it was basic, slow, and lacked narrative flow.
Project Direction
Limottakna needed a showcase website that could reflect both the creative and experiential side of the brand. My job was to design a website that looked like an extension of the space itself — minimalist, creative, and high impact.
What These Projects Have in Common
While Forest Camp and Limottakna are very different in identity, my approach was consistent:
- Understand the brand before touching design
- Make performance a core feature, not an afterthought
- Focus on mobile UX — because that’s where most users start
- Build with SEO from day one
Both of these sites are a reflection of the businesses they represent — and that’s the goal of good web development. A great website should amplify the feeling you get when you’re physically there, while making it easy for people to explore, book, or visit.
If you’re running a resort, a café with a view, or any kind of destination that deserves a stronger online presence — let’s work together. I’d love to help bring your space to life online.
